I'm east-side for life, and the west-side confuses and angers me with all of its twisty dead-end roads. Best way to get there is to just take 1st avenue south until it dead-ends at Curry.

I had rented 1st floor apartment here in '99. It was furnished with some basic stuff and was $450 month to month plus utilities. Wasn't a bad deal for a single person. I'm looking for a place in Portland again and was hoping the complex wouldn't have changed much, but it looks like they have been remodeled..thus rent has gone up, and there might not be any furnished apts anymore..
