Creston Villa #16

The apartment will be ready 9/6/07:
This is a ground floor 2-bedroom apartment with private porch and outside entrance. At 740 square feet, this is one of the smaller two bedrooms at Creston Villa. All of the windows face south in this unit. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and disposal. Carpet is 11 months old. There is on-site laundry with brand new washer/dryers, two parking lots, and on-site management. This apartment also has new vinyl windows which keep the heat/cool in quite efficiently. It was painted with Miller AcroPure, which is an environmentally friendly no-VOC paint, and cleaned with cleanVIA and BacOut which are environmentally friendly cleaning products.
Creston Villa is on buslines 9 and 75. It's right behind that new Safeway, so groceries and Starbucks are about 100 yards away.
Here's a video of the apartment:

Creston Villa #16

Anyone want a smallish 2-bedroom on 40th and Powell? It's kind of a weird layout but it has a patio and new carpet. I hate carpet, but for $650/mo I could ALMOST live with it. There's a weird locked door in that apartment that doesn't seem to go anywhere. It's randomly placed in the living room about a foot off of the ground. It either goes to Narnia or perhaps that secret place behind the pins at the bowling alley.
Come to think of it, I guess I could never live in this apartment, specifically because of that door: Where does it actually go? I would probably stare at that door for at least 20 minutes a day wondering about what lays (lies?--pedantic grammar inside joke) on the other side. Seriously. No wonder it's only $650. Knowledge is power, but it's the NOT KNOWING that makes things absolutely maddening.
I'll have a youtube video of it up tomorrow.

Curry Court #9

Curry Court #9 is on the top floor corner of the building facing west to OHSU and the West Hills. I call it the "Tram Suite" because it has the best view of the aerial tram, especially after all the leaves have fallen.
This is an eco-friendly apartment featuring bamboo hardwood floors, Caroma Dual-Flush toilets, petroleum-free marmoleum in the kitchen and bath, high-efficiency brushed stainless steel appliances, and sustainable-harvest birch glass-front cabinetry. There are a lot of other enviro-conscious aspects of the apartment that aren't quite as exciting, like no-VOC custom paint and such, but the list is too long to go into here.
It's just under 500 sq ft, and here's what it looks like when you have a digital camera:

This studio is available immediately, and I'd love to show it to ya sometime. I can be reached at 503.231.9169.
$675/mo on a six-month lease includes water, sewer, garbage. You pay electric.
$400-$675 deposit depending on credit and rental history.*
$100 admin/cleaning fee.
$40 application fee.
$100 cat deposit.
Sorry, no dogs.
The Curry Court Apartments are located at 11 SW Curry. We have off-street parking, laundry room, and a bike room.
The exterior of the building can be viewed here:
