Emily over at the La Salle has a huge one-bedroom for rent. The La Salle is probably in the top 5 of my favorite buildings in the neighborhood, as it seems like they've been able to maintain most of their 1924 charm throughout the years. The apartment is on the second floor and has hardwood floors, french doors, and a lot of other charming stuff that will make your friends jealous. At $835/mo it's a little more expensive than most places, but you get what you pay for. It's a block off of Hawthorne so there's not too much street noise, and it's within stumbling distance of Langano Lounge. This building is one of those places where the rare vacancies are snatched up pretty quickly, so by the time you read this, it's probably already rented. One has a good range of options for LaSalle apartments. We just need to spend enough time looking through our choices.
