I was walking around the neighborhood today and saw that the Valencia Apartments has their little "for rent" box out with the cute little brochures. This is another one of my favorite buildings in the neighborhood, since it seems like it's in great shape. It was built in 1928, so it's a great old bricker. Also, it's right above the Yarn Garden, which is a place I would totally shop if I had any reason to buy something like, say, yarn I guess. According to KBC Management's website, they have a one-bedroom available for $765. It's at 1430 SE 14th, right on the corner of 14th and Hawthorne. Their phone is 503-235-2442.
