The Highland Terrace Apartments at 2045 SE Madison have their vacancy sign out this afternoon. They are run by Reliance Property Management and according to their website they have a one-bedroom for $750/mo. That seems like an okay deal for a pretty 1927 building. I called their number (503-244-1359) this afternoon at 4pm but the answering machine said they were closed.
In case you're not from here, SE Madison is a block north of Hawthorne so it's a quick walk to the number 14 bus. Hopefully, they actually have an apartment available and their not just being lazy by leaving their sign up. I've been guilty of that.
