I don't use PadMapper, but I use Bing or Google and it works fine. And if not, you can install the Garmin software in your Iphone, and that also works well. While I was in a buenos aires apartment I used the Garmin software to find my place, because I did't have Internet conection, so it was the best. At least for me.
