This place keeps popping up on craigslist. Either no one wants a $550 studio anymore or this place is impossible to rent. Judging by the pictures in the ad, I'd guess the latter is true. Is that a stove in the living room?

I lived at this property and I can tell you why. The management company is totally sketch and so is the building. The "apartment" shown is a tiny little room in a house that has been "remodeled" into apartments (but really it's still just a room in a house...I mean you share a bathroom with everyone in the building). When I moved in I could tell that the place hadn't been cleaned, ever, and that I was being totally taken advantage of by paying so much to live in that shit hole. It felt dirty, poorly taken care of and unsafe. Obviously, I should have never rented from them (as they say, "hindsight is 20/20"). I'm also pretty certain that the management company, Grid Property Management, are a bunch of swindlers, and the guy and his wife who own and run the company border on slumlords. Anyway, point being, I hope I can save whoever is reading this a bunch of time and money by telling them not to rent there and certainly don't rent anything from their company.
PS It's totally a stove. Probably from when the house was built.
