Walkscore is a neat site that tells you how walkable your neighborhood is. Most people would have to put the term walkable in quotes, but since my apartments are in 97214 it seemed pretty unnecessary. The Lynnwood gets an 89/100, but the Queen Marie gets an 87/100. I spent a few minutes on that site with different addresses around town but couldn't break 89--even with downtown. Wonder what gets a 100?
By the way, I have a studio coming up at Belmont Court August 20th. It has carpet, so don't call unless you're either desperate or from a land where carpet is acceptable.

my old address (910 se 37th, at the corner of belmont) gets a 91. smack dab in the middle of the hawthorne district gets you a 94.
this site is awesome and addicting. we just moved to 20th and johnson (97). i put in my old address in nyc at 2nd and 2nd (100).
Good to know that there is a place out there with a possible 100!
