Available 2/1/08:
This is a large 790 sq ft 2-bedroom apartment located on the first floor. The living room and dining room face north to the courtyard, and the bedrooms face south. It has a very big eat-in kitchen with plenty of room for a dining room table. The two bedrooms are about average size for the period, but include deep closets with sliding doors. The living room is bigger than most, and the outlets and cable jack are actually in a place that make sense. I don't post videos of apartments until they're completely turned over (this one will be no later than the afternoon of 1/31), but here's one that looks pretty much exactly the same:
Weathering Heights is a quiet 16-unit complex with on-site management. There's a laundry room and plenty of off-street parking. Located at 2820 SE Gladstone, it's right on the #10 Tri-Met bus line and five blocks from the #9. I actually kind of like the location because the Pub At The End Of The Universe is right across the street (but stay away from there if you have a problem with Reedies), and I've always wanted to check out the Ship Ahoy Tavern because it looks all divey from out front. Plus, the name "Ship Ahoy" automatically means that I love it because I'm an aging hipster. People in my demographic fall for that crap every time.
Weathering Heights was built in 1972, and named by someone that obviously failed ENG 314. Emily Bronte is rolling over in her grave.
