Here is--for better or for worse--the google street view links of the buildings I'm currently renting:
Sellwood House
Curry Court
Creston Villa
Lynnwood
Warnell
Queen Marie
I'm a little embarrassed that my fence at the Lynnwood was broken when their little camera car drove by.

any openings on the older properties?
Do all these properties include utilities?
I'm looking to relocate from Michigan to Portland within the next few months and have neither relocated before nor seen Portland.
I found an apartment tonight and was all excited because the place was actually $390 and all the utilities were included, right down to electricity. The place was only 250 sq. feet, which was okay because my husband and I don't have a lot of things. Anyway, it's in the northeast and so I looked up northeast portland and all I get is horrific stories of crime. And that's a little out of the question, since I was going to leave a couple of months before my husband. So now I'm disappointed.
I really need help here.
earl grey, I have a one-bedroom available at Sellwood House.
jacklyn, the best thing to do when looking for an apartment in Portland from out of state is to check out portlandmaps dot com. You can see actual crime stats there. Some parts of NE are great, some not so great. I'd stay out of Cully, for example. Let me know if you're looking for the "traverse city" neighborhood of portland or the "flint" neighborhood of portland and i'll try to steer you in the right direction.
what is the price for the 1bed?
Here's all the info for the one-bedroom:

Could I get an estimate for a two-bedroom apartment for the last three properties?
I'm on the market for a two bedroom apartment between Hawthorne and Belmont, and between 15th and 39th.
What a pain, right?
My sister and her family are trying to get a place where their 5 five year old can attend school at Sunnyside school. Hence, the specifications.
Any thoughts?
J,
In the last 2 months, I've only seen one property that fits that criteria come up, and it was a house on 15th and Belmont for $1275. One good thing is that this is the slowest time of the year, so vacancies tend to stay up a tad longer than usual. A lot of places aren't even bothering with craigslist anymore because of the sheer volume of traffic they receive per ad. If you're in town, I'd definitely take some time to just cruise the neighborhood looking for "for rent" signs. Either that, or keep checking American Property Management's website since they have the highest volume of 2bd apartments in the neighborhood you desire.
